Occasionally, some of the comments I receive on this blog are what I call “post worthy.” Said differently, sometimes a reader’s comment is so interesting that it is promoted to a full post for everyone to enjoy. It rarely happens, but it does happen occasionally. The comment below is that sort of interesting. When I first received the following comment I was struck silly by an almost “Are you kidding me?!?” sort of vibe, but then, and after a few minutes of thought, I realized there is a lesson in this comment about symbols and our interpretation of symbols and the effect our interpretations can have upon our subsequent/consequent thoughts and actions.
So, without further ado, I present you with one of the most interesting comments I have ever received (I’m including the name of the comment author because this was not sent to me in private, but as a comment to be published on this blog):
I have a question for you… why is it that at the bottom of your page there is a symbol of the “Inverted keys”, a classical symbol of the Illuminati? I am making no accusations, as I truly doubt you are a member, in fact, I am almost 100% certain there is no chance you are… but I am curious if you are trying to give the impression to others who know the symbol that you are?
Either way, I am cool with it… But you might not want the wrong people to see that symbol.
If you would contact me privately I also have some questions for you regarding the writing on the walls of the tomb at talpiot. I speak Latin and have some slight knowledge of Greek… and I was curious to know if you had any copies of the script as I am fairly certain I could translate it if I could get a copy of it. Or if you even knew any of the letters? You said you had studied the tomb before the show was made about it and I was curious if any additional writings other than those talked about in the program existed.
I also believe that I can show that the symbol used on both the talpiot tomb entrance and the ossuary of peter found a short distance away are the early root of the Christian “Icthus” symbol.
The icthus in the earliest Christian forms is drawn with the tail down and the dot in the center, much like the inverted chevron.
Its my personal belief that the 2 symbols were merged into one… the origins of why the 2 symbols were later merged may even be covered in the documentary at the end when it talks about how important the story of Jonah was to Jesus… and that it symbolised like Jonah, Jesus returned after 3 days in later Christian stories…. I think around the time 100 years after the death of Jesus when the story became that he was resurrected, the symbol of the Christian movement was also changed to reflect the differing beliefs of the separate group of new Christians that believed in his resurrection… and that this group stemmed from Paul’s Christian movement, when Christianity became a business instead of a philosophy.
I think Paul’s movement changed the symbol to the icthus from the simple inverted chevron with the circle inside it to the icthus with the circle behind the tail… probably some time just before the death of Paul but I put it at about 80-120 AD at the latest that the symbol was changed. My guess is its just after the last person who actually knew Jesus died… give or take decade…
Just some thoughts I would like to get your feedback on sense you seem to know what your talking about… and you knew enough to have the Illuminati symbol on your page. :) Weather its actually intended to mean anything or not… LOL
May the light of truth shine forever…
Douglas
Well, serious talk about Talpiot and Icthus aside, I think some of us have been following Dr. Robert Langdon around a bit too much. While I am entertained and intrigued by Robert Langdon and his Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons adventures, I’m sorry to say that things here at my personal website are far less adventuresome and not nearly as intriguing. That’s a bummer.
The symbol living at the bottom of my page is actually my personal homage to my favorite band in the world: Pearl Jam. Yep. Pearl Jam. It’s their symbol and millions of people all over the world refer to it as “Alive Guy.” It’s the graphic image/figure that was used on the cover of the band’s official single release of a song titled “Alive.” There is a line in the chorus of the song that says “I’m still alive …” Those are the words that I circled around my version of “Alive Guy,” as seen at the bottom of this page. How in the world anyone would/could see “Illuminati’s inverted keys” in Alive Guy is beyond me and my understanding.

So, before any super-secret Illuminati henchmen/women come looking for me because of my Pearl Jam logo, please, consider the way you are interpreting our everyday symbols. Some of us just draw pictures because we love drawing and love pictures. Not everything is a riddle.
Thank you for the question and comment, Douglas.

Wow, yes someone does like Dan Brown and conspiracy theories! But I do agree that the Illuminati would never let you in Shawn, sorry! ;) I am suppressed that no one from BIC or any of the Neo-Reformist have commented on the new style of the Lofti Trib Logo. Perhaps about the guy who is next to it, maybe how he “looks” like a devil, or how it’s made of the Ancient satanic symbol of a dragon eating its own tail, (see Lucent Technologies), and a piece of Stonehenge, where pagan sacrifices were made before England embraced Christendom? Ha-ha, just kidding man! You can find symbolism where ever you look and make it say whatever you want it to, this is true!
Fortunately, the BIC is pretty level-headed. And happily I explained my personal brand symbol last weekend, here; http://www.lofitribe.com/about/
Cool beans. Halo he is!
Hi, interest post. I’ll write you later about few questions!
