Motocross as Spiritual Discipline

Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to grab the RSS feed or subscribe via email to receive updates on this topic and many others!

There is more to life than theology and books about theology. In fact, a healthy spiritual life will include all the other good things that life has to offer too. I’m still waiting for a proper explanation of spiritual disciplines that includes recreation. Surely, such a book will include a chapter on motocross.

I wonder if Richard Foster has ever been to the classic Unadilla Motocross National that was held yesterday? Probably not. The infamous “Unadilla Hill People,” as they are called and known throughout the word of motocross, are a bit much for the uninformed.

At any rate, Makita Rockstar Suzuki’s Chad Reed won both motos (1-1) yesterday at the Unadilla Pro National. The Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship is Reed’s to lose this year.
