Inner Metro Green Gets Art Direction

Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to grab the RSS feed or subscribe via email to receive updates on this topic and many others!

Justin Carroll, of 3Circle Studio, has not only joined Inner Metro Green (a church plant in Lancaster City, PA), but also is unleashing his God-given gifts and talents in seriously edifying fashion. He is blessing – and continuously blessing – the art direction of Inner Metro Green in way that has been so desperately needed! Inner Metro Green’s art direction was virtually non-existent, but now there is a conceptual theme developing – as we speak – that will be uniformly expressed through the official logo, business cards, letterheads, envelopes and an upcoming new web site. The whole package naturally complements the color/image/symbol concept driving the church’s moniker. It’s what was needed!

We are all so thankful for Justin & Desiree Carroll and Stephen & Sara Sarro! We met them all as a group, and we are so excited about the future we have together, in the Gospel, in the city! They all come with great hearts and a willingness to grow, learn, and share. That’s awesome! And any church planter knows how rare it is! We are praising God for these four! The best part of this Gospel we share is being transformed by the Son of the living God, and introducing others to that life-changing transformation, but making new friends is not too far behind. Thank God for new friends! May our God bless them, three-fold!

  1. I’m sure you’ve explained this before, but how did you come up with Inner Metro Green. The Green part is what intriques me.

    The artwork looks fabulous.

You aren’t the first to ask, bro! Our name has proven to be a great conversation starter, to say the least. See this page for an explanation: IMG.

Basically, I wanted something that wasn’t a run of the mill, “canned” church name. So, I went after a concept name instead. A deeper explanation is available in the above lined page.

Thanks, Shane! Oh, and your Scribe app is being voted on as we speak. Good luck, bro!

I do design work with a number of churches and ministries to suppliment my ministry income, and it is a rare, rare thing to find a leader who allows me to be the designer (I’m banging my head against the wall as we speak with a certain client right now).

    Kudos to you, Shawn.

Thanks, Will! Yeah, I think a good quality of real leadership is knowing when someone knows a lot more than you about any given subject and actually allowing them to freely do their job. Pastors should do more equipping than micro-managing!

Justin is awesome and he knows what we are about, as a church community. So, I just step out of his way and let him and The Spirit have enough free room to do their thing together.

    The results have been great!

  5. The artwork rules. Very professional, and un-typical. Kudos Justin. Im glad my sister married you!!

    also…

no, nevermind, thats all I had to say.

    Oh, Hi Shawn.

  6. Shawn says:

    Rock on, Stephen! :)
