I have just a few important site and ministry updates that I thought I needed to share before I dive back into my Christmas Sunday preparations. There’s so much to do, and less and less time to do it!
First, a few Tribe updates: I just finished – for the most part – a brand new, shiny skin (read: design) for the site. Do drop by the actual site and let me know what you think of the new look/feel, if you are reading this post via rss feed. There is more of me in the header, obviously! And I’ll be pasting festive vector hats onto my head according to the season and/or holiday. I’m sure that makes your day!
Secondly, you may also notice a somewhat cryptic sounding/looking “God Loves Fundamentalists ? Too” graphic near the header area. This is exciting, at least for me! “God Loves Fundamentalists ? Too!” is the name of the new campaign we’ll be kicking off at Inner Metro Green in the New Year. There will be much, much more info following regarding this new campaign. There is also a website in the works for it too! I can say this much, for now: “God loves us all and we can stop – right now – trying so hard to convince ourselves of this truth.” The fact that our church – which is not fundamentalist by any stretch of the imagination – is planted right in the middle of one of the most religious places in this country has everything to do with this campaign of good news. Some call Lancaster County & the vicinity the “Belt Buckle of the Bible Belt,” so this is a very relevant campaign. We all need to hear the transformational Good News of the Gospel. Believe … and watch.
