Psalm 27:14: Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
We are builders, not architects. There is only one architect. God has the best plan for each of our lives in hand. He has it all mapped-out already. We simply must believe, wait, and then follow. God will move obstacles out of the way and he will open and close many doors. We are not at the mercy of a cold, relentless fate! We are children of God! We are children who are invited to follow our father in a very definite and purposeful way. So, do not fear! Simply believe, wait, and follow. God will take care of the rest. He is the architect; we are builders.
Today’s Prayer: God, help us to trust you. Help us let go of our own plans and rest in the promise that is you. You have our best plans already in hand. May your Spirit fill us with patience, serenity, and trust so that we may be able to quietly wait upon you. Thank you for leading us. Empower us to build. Amen.
